- The Coastal Cruise
2008 was held April 24-27, 2008. Twelve PT Cruisers
arrived at the Microtel Hotel in Carolina Beach from NC,
FL, TN and VA Thursday afternoon ready for a great
relaxing weekend of cruising with friends.

- After breakfast
Friday morning everyone loaded up and cruised up I40 to
the Duplin Winery and Bistro for a tour of the winery
production facility, a professional wine tasting,
followed by a delicious lunch in the Bistro. The ladies
had time to shop before returning to Wilmington for an
afternoon of free time at the Cotton Exchange and water
front of Wilmington.

- The group was
joined by 2 more PTs Saturday before heading to the
Southport Ferry for a ferry ride over to the Oak Island
Lighthouse, Fort Caswell and Southport. After lunch,
strolling the streets of Southport and shopping, the
group took a quick cruise into Orton Plantation and
followed by cruising back to Wilmington for a tour of
the Battleship USS North Carolina.

- Following a hearty
breakfast Sunday morning everyone hugged and said their
goodbyes and headed by home. The weather was perfect and
so was the fellowship of a bunch of PT lovers.
