Another AutoFair has come and gone.  Even though it was a little less than ideal place we were put in the speedway, it beat being out in the hot sun.  Soft breezes were provided by the remnants of Hurricane Hanna blowing up the coast.  What we thought would be a rainy day turned into an absolute gorgeous day.  Due to various reasons, we were 5 cars short but picked up a couple extras in the last couple days before the show and we ended up with 27 cars total.  Touche'.

Carroll Shelby himself was at AutoFair and actually came up to the Mustangs directly across from us to personally autograph the dash of a brand new Mustang Shelby GT500.  How cool was that?

AutoFair at Lowes Motor Speedway is a twice yearly event and is preplanned years in advance by the Hornets Nest Chapter of the Antique Automobile Association.  It is a rain or shine event.  This is being posted so that future events in the planning stage do not conflict or overlap with it. The dates shown are Thursday through Sunday which is the whole event.  Car clubs will show only on the Saturday and Sunday event days.
